Empowering communities through education and culture is essential for community empowerment.

The Historically Black High Schools (HBHS) Foundation is dedicated to preserving the rich legacy of Historically Black High Schools while boldly shaping its future. We champion Academic Excellence, School Pride, Spirit, Performance, and Community Empowerment by investing in Future Scholarship Funds, Community Mentorship, Mental Health awareness, and Transformative Initiatives through strategic partnerships with local and state agencies. With a strong alumni network, we can create pathways for success, ensuring that every graduate is equipped to Lead, Innovate, and Contribute to society. Together, we are not just honoring history—we are building a future where Historically Black High Schools remain pillars of Excellence in the Community while creating a lasting impact in Education and Culture.
Black people standing together or "AS ONE" symbolizes a powerful historic commitment to collective Unity, Resilience, and Solidarity in the face of adversity. This enduring concept represents a shared, unapologetic, and united front that has historically paved the way for major milestones, such as these institutions that were much needed to provide high-quality secondary education to Black Students.
